3 YouTube Channels That Keep Me Motivated

A few years ago, I had a flair for negativity.

I was not one for the “peace, love, and happiness” mumbo jumbo stuff. It’s funny that now I 100% believe that the thoughts you entertain and the words you use directly create the life you live. I’ve seen firsthand how the information I feed my mind impacts whether I have consistent joy throughout my days or consistent misery. I work to produce more joyful and positive output in my life and there are many handy books I read and videos I watch that help me along the way. Here are 3 different YouTube channels I watch on a consistent basis to keep myself motivated and productive:

1.     OWN
This is the Oprah Winfrey Network channel on YouTube. I especially love the Super Soul Sunday videos. On SSS, Oprah interviews various high-profile guests in various fields that discuss how acceptance, gratitude, peace, and all other aspects of spirituality take center stage in their lives and enhance their existence. I love the optimistic outlook the guests have on life and I always feel spiritually refreshed after watching an episode.

2.     Heather Lindsey
I love this channel. Heather is a young woman that lives passionately for God and is unashamed to admit it. She is an author, speaker, and founder of the organization Pinky Promise, which encourages women to honor God with their lives and body. She is bold about her love for God and her choice to follow Christ daily in her life. She is bold about her imperfections and her continuous quest for personal/spiritual improvement in her life. Heather’s love and boldness for God encourages me to continue sharing the goodness of God and strengthening my relationship with Christ.

3.     Beta Motivation
This channel revolves around the life and work of Kola Olaosebikan, a young Nigerian speaker and blogger. Kola has a deep desire to motivate young people that want to live a purposeful life and make a difference in the world. She is a passionate orphan advocate and recently went to visit an orphanage in India to bring awareness to the child orphans in the area. I am beyond impressed by this young lady (and not just because she’s a fellow Naija gal). She is living a faithful & courageous life, and her choice to be of service to others inspires me daily.

There you have it, lovelies; some of my favorite viewing pleasures. If you want to start producing more positive, loving, and generous results in your life, you have to start feeding your mind more positive, loving, and generous information – and that is exactly what these 3 channels have to offer you. They have improved my life tremendously.

I hope they do the same for you/:
